Cycle #3

It has been a while since I have posted!  I have been busy, busy, busy!  I wrapped up the end of the school year and moved classrooms.  That was exhausting.  And it is killing me knowing tht I have soooo much to organize when I get back there!  J and I also went on vacation.  It was nice, pretty relaxing.  But I am so happy to be back home this week!

About a week or so before we went on vacation I had taken Malone in to the vet to get his vaccines up to date so he would stay at a kennel.  When we got home our cat, Heidi, was very lethargic and I saw blood in her urine.  I was so worried!  So back the vet I went.  Turns out she had a bladder infection.  Poor thing!  I was really worried about her.  I've had her for 7 years and this was the first that she has been sick.  Anyway, antibiotics and 10 days without Malone harrassing her (because he was at the kennel) and she is feeling MUCH better.  We picked Malone up on Monday and he was sneezing a little.  It got worse over the last few days so I took him into the vet this morning.  He has an upper respiratory infection from being at the kennel.  Poor thing!  Now he is moping around the house looking pitiful.  I'm sure he will be felling better soon when the meds kick in!

So to update on my last cycle.... I think that I ovulated, but I'm not entirely sure.  I had what I believe was a positive OPK on CD22 (they are soooo hard for me to read!).  Because I added that to FF it gave me crosshairs.  My temps alone did not though.  I had a luetal phase of 12 days, so I think maybe I did ovulate.  Which, if I did, is a great step in the right direction!  I was too busy on our trip to really worry and be consumed with the 2ww.  I took a test 9dpo and it was negative, but I knew it was way early.  I had hoped to test again when we came home, but I got AF instead. So I am CD6 and almost done with my Clomid.

I have also gone back to see Dr. C.  I saw him on CD26 (3dpo) and he said that my lining, once again, looked wonderful.  I still have cysts on my left ovary, but he explained that it could take upwards of a year for them to disapate.  He also explained that having cysts does not prohibit pregnancy.  He was very opimistic, as always. " I wouldn't be suprised if you were pregnant in 2-3 months."  Well, I know better than to get my hopes wrapped up in that... but at least he thinks I will get pregnant!  My Met was upped from 1000 to 1500mgs  (yeah a week after I filled a 3 month prescription... now I have to take 3 huge pills instead of two until they run out!).  Clomid stayed the same.  I go back for another U/S in September.  So, I am staying hopeful and positive!  Maybe the 3rd time is the charm!
